ELK Balance
One balance for everything
ELK Balance is the balance that pays for everything else: a number, a minute of calling, a data plan, a top-up sent. You load it by Mobile Money for whatever amount you want, and every movement — in and out — appears in a dated history. It is deliberately simple: one balance, no sub-accounts, no maintenance fee, and no credit that vanishes because a month went by.
Top up with Mobile Money — MTN or Orange, Credit Card or Crypto — any amount you want, starting from a few hundred francs. This balance pays for all services. Every transaction appears in your history, with its date, amount, and what it paid for.
How it works
Top up
By MTN or Orange Money, from the phone you already use. You confirm on your phone as you would for any Mobile Money payment.
The balance is available
As soon as the operator confirms. It works immediately across every service, with nothing to allocate between them.
Everything is traceable
Each line of the history shows the date, the amount, the direction and what it paid for. Nothing is charged without appearing here.
What's included
One balance for every service
No separate 'calls' credit and 'data' credit. What you load pays for whatever you need, the day you need it.
Any amount you like
There is no minimum top-up set at tens of thousands of francs. Load small and often if that suits you better.
No account-keeping fees
No monthly charge, no dormancy fee. A balance left alone for three months is intact when you come back.
Full, exportable history
Every operation with its date and purpose. Necessary as soon as the account is used for a business.
Shown in your currency
Balance and prices follow the currency you chose. Conversion is applied at the time of the operation and the rate used stays visible in the history.

Does my balance expire?
No. There is no expiry date and no dormancy fee.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Mobile Money — MTN and Orange — works today. Card, bank transfer and crypto are in preparation; they will appear in the app when they actually work, and not before.
Can I withdraw my balance?
ELK Balance is there to pay for ELK Connect services; it is not a bank account and it does not earn interest. For a particular situation — a large amount loaded by mistake, for instance — write to support, who handle these case by case.
What happens if a payment fails?
Nothing is charged. If your Mobile Money operator confirmed on their side without the balance appearing, the operation is reconciled automatically; if it is not within the hour, write to us with the reference your operator showed.
Can I change currency?
Yes, in your settings. The change affects display and future operations; past operations keep the currency they were made in, which is the only way to keep a history readable.
