These terms govern the use of the ELK Connect platform, which lets you obtain virtual phone numbers, send and receive SMS, and use the telecom services we open over time.

By creating an account you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

You must be of legal age and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for any activity carried out from your account.

A phone number can be attached to only one account.

Services are paid from your ELK Balance, which you top up in advance. The balance is held in the currency shown at top-up.

ELK Balance is an internal means of payment for our services: it is neither a bank account nor a money-transfer service, and it does not bear interest.

The prices displayed at the time of purchase apply. They may change, with no retroactive effect on a period already paid for.

A virtual number is billed monthly and charged automatically to your balance on each due date.

If your balance is insufficient, the number is suspended. It is reactivated as soon as the balance is topped up. After a few days without payment, the number is permanently released and may be reassigned to someone else.

You can release a number at any time from the app. An already-paid period is not refunded pro rata.

You may not use the service to send unsolicited, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing or unlawful messages, to impersonate anyone, or to circumvent the rules of a carrier or third-party platform.

You must comply with the regulations applicable in the country of the number and of your recipients. Some uses (for example commercial messaging to the United States) require prior registration with the carriers.

Any breach may lead to immediate suspension of the account, without refund.

Our services rely on third-party carriers and providers. An interruption, change or decision on their side may affect the availability of a service, including keeping a number.

We work to provide continuous availability but cannot guarantee it absolutely. No service-level commitment is given unless separately agreed in writing.

When a paid operation fails through us or a provider (for example an SMS that is not sent), the corresponding amount is automatically credited back to your balance.

ELK Balance top-ups are not refundable in cash, unless required by law.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the relevant service over the last three months. We are not liable for indirect damages (loss of business, loss of data, loss of profit).

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close an account in case of breach of these terms, fraud, or legal obligation.

These terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius. Disputes fall under the competent courts of Mauritius, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence.
